Mae
An unfortunate kickboxing incident left Mae with a completely dislocated shoulder. She solved this painful dilemma by calmly putting it back in. By herself. Then did push-ups. Sounds hardcore, but once you know Mae, not surprising.
The FAA invited her to take the Air Traffic Controller test—and she passed. But instead of a lucrative career in the tower, Mae joined Email Broadcast, bringing a BA in English from the University of Washington, and a decade of experience in client relations and service. Known for her cool focus and obsession for color-coding, some see Mae's organizational skills as slightly OCD. She considers it an art. Mae is thrilled to share ideas with the innovative minds at Email Broadcast, who all sweat in emotional labor for their clients. This Account Coordinator definitely packs a punch!
Miguel
In his youth, Miguel was surrounded by more taco trucks than actual restaurants. Though raised in the ghettos of Eastern Washington, the landscape still enabled the spirit of mother-nature to course through his veins. At a very young age, Miguel was quickly drawn to blood-thirsty sports, like football. As he grew older, his fascination for danger and excitement developed even more—and thus he began exploring the depths of code. Endless nights he would fall asleep in front of his computer, while his phone blew up with text messages hollering about all the parties he was missing out on. Miguel was indeed, a true geek.
He also loved road trips, and on one particular drive, he ended up in Seattle, seeking to fall in love with nature once again, and in hopes to rid himself of his dirty computer addiction. Instead, he succumbed to the Email Broadcast team, where he found himself face-to-face once more with his arch-enemy: HTML (Hey There My Love). Every day, Miguel cannot break free from his code-addiction, consumed by perfection and letting the diligence overtake him. Though his social life may suck, his virtual life rocks!
Ruth
Ruth is the latest and greatest copywriter to join Email Broadcast's already-stellar team. More creative than she should be, Ms. Fine walks to a different beat. As natural life-lover, Ruth has traveled every country in Eastern Europe, eaten a rattlesnake, been married twice, sang Johnny Cash live, owned her own franchise, flirted her way into Canada, ran a marathon, sailed the Pacific, jumped into a volcano, and... well, she dreams big and never settles. Ruth's journey has taken her to new and exciting places...like Email Broadcast, for example.
As an "imagination" specialist, she lives for the art of captivating copy, promotion, and design. And, as a graduate of Harvard University majoring in humanities and philosophy, she writes some pretty killer copy and feels damn good about the work she produces. Ruth has always said, "I may not have a huge skill set, but I can write the hell outta anything."
