Eco-Friendly Workspace
In this era, it’s important that every company do what it can to reduce it’s impact on the environment. As a company and as individuals our efforts include the following:
- In 2007 our clients saved 1,337,098 pieces of paper (that’s over 53,000 lbs and a stack 668 feet high) by sending email instead of traditional direct mail. They also saved that many envelopes and stamps!
- Our lighting is 100% low-energy fluorescent bulbs.
- We subsidize our full-time employee’s bus passes for commuting to work, and also offer work from home opportunities.
- Our office furniture is purchased used.
- Our full-time employees are paid the extra amount required to switch their home energy source to 100% renewable energy offered by their utility company.
- We support FSC by only using FSC certified paper products in the office.
- Our employees are encouraged to ask for and buy FSC wood products, and MSC fish products for their personal use whenever it’s an available choice.
